restores both function and esthetics and will
prevent further

can decide which is best for you.

Can I replace the old silver fillings in my
teeth?
Yes. In many cases I think there is reason to
do this, and I see many back teeth with large
silver fillings fracture due to stresses produced
by the amalgam (silver) fillings. There have
been innovative advancements in tooth-colored
resins
and porcelain
material that provide both cosmetic advantages
and the strength of amalgam fillings, especially
in back teeth.
There are several options available for treating

Can I get back the smile I had when I was younger
even though my teeth have worn down over the

In many instances, the answer is yes. When considering
this type of treatment it is important to consider
the whole mouth as a functional and esthetic
unit. See our feature case in the makeover
gallery to
